This has been, in terms of time, our latest passion, even if the idea of opening a separate gallery dedicated to tapestries goes back to many years ago. And it happened by chance. It was already the time when rugs of XIX century were getting scarcer and the temptation of devoting ourselves to modern items was very strong.
The meditation was short but the decision was, instead, to back to the past and engaging in tapestries of XVI, XVII and XVIII centuries. Since then we can share the satisfaction of having completed with antique tapestries several meeting halls, hotels, or simply living rooms of private houses.
The result was to change the rooms introducing a magic world made of battles, mithological scenes or a perpetuation of the garden, that goes back to a XVI and XVII centuries atmosphere.
